Deliveries

  • Will the flowers look exactly like the image on the website?

    Although we endeavor to match arrangements to the website, this is not always possible. Flowers, foliage, plants, containers, and packaging are all subject to availability. If an item for your arrangement is unavailable or out of season, we will make our best effort to substitute it with a similar item that is consistent with the design and color scheme of the arrangement pictured.

  • May I request changes to the design when I order?

    Yes. Please make your request in the SPECIAL INSTRUCTION box when ordering online. We may not be able to accommodate you, but we will do our best.

  • How much does your delivery service cost?

    The fees range from $0 to $15, depending upon the zip code, except for Mother’s Day and Valentine’s Day, when the delivery fee is $30 because of the high volume.

  • Do you offer same-day delivery?

    Yes, same-day delivery is available for orders placed before 1 pm.

  • Where do you deliver?

    We offer delivery throughout San Francisco and Daly City only.

  • When do you deliver?

    We deliver 7-days a week, except for the following holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, and Christmas Day. 

    All deliveries are made anytime between 9 am and 5 pm. We cannot guarantee delivery at a specific time. For memorial arrangements, we deliver between 9 am and 5 pm. The flowers will arrive at least 1 hour before the start of the service.

  • What happens if nobody is there to receive the delivery?

    We will leave the delivery if it is safe to do so; if not, we will call the recipient for instructions. If we cannot reach them, we will contact the sender, so it is essential to provide a phone number when ordering. If all that fails, we will return to the shop. If we attempt another delivery, additional charges may apply.

  • What if I need to cancel my order?

    If you cancel your order at least two days before the scheduled delivery, you will receive a full refund. 

    If you cancel your order at least one day before the scheduled delivery day, you will incur a service charge equal to 25% of the entire order, and the remainder will be refunded. 

    We cannot cancel and order on the day of delivery.

Caring for Flowers and Plants

  • How should I arrange and care for cut flowers?

    To keep your Sol Ambiance bouquet looking beautiful as long as possible, please follow these instructions:

    1. Trim each steam about 1/2 inch at an angle before placing them in water
    2. Place flowers away from sunlight, heat, drafts, and fruit
    3. Change the water and add the food provided or a 1⁄4 cup of lemon-lime soda every 2 to 3 days for nutrition.
  • How should I care for arranged flowers in a vase?

    To keep your Sol Ambiance arrangement looking beautiful as long as possible, please follow these instructions:

    1. Top off the water when you receive the arrangement 
    2. Place flowers away from sunlight, heat, drafts, and fruit
    3. Change the water and add the food provided or a 1⁄4 cup of lemon-lime soda every 2 to 3 days for nutrition.
  • How should I care for plants?

    Most of our plants are low maintenance. They prefer indirect sunlight, moderate watering, approximately once a week. Allow the soil to dry out between watering and keep plants away from drafts.
